Went by Academy today and wandered over to the firearm area.

Holy Carp.

The only two boxes of ammo there (rifle or pistol) were an odd ball size I'd never heard of.

They had about 5-7 shotguns but not a single rifle in stock.

Didn't look at the pistols but I imagine they were all gone too.

The Libs are the best gun sales people ever!

I have a friend, who is 60, who has never fired a gun. She purchased one last fall fearing looters, rioters, and a progressive administration.

She said she bought it in case gun sales were no longer legal. She saw her city was having a gun show, she went to the table that had the gun she wanted, went to another where she could get ammo and left with her purchases.

I recommended for her safety that she should hire an instructor to learn to load and fire it.

Georgia Arms is pretty low on ammo too. They are offering very little in the canned heat selection (500 rounds). They had some 9mm in 100ct and some other odd stuff. Actually they had several caliber choices in lower counts but very little in high counts. .40 and 5.56 were out as of last week.

While I would always like to have more, I'm pretty well stocked.
