My heart goes out to this family and for all involved. I can't imagine what the family or the driver of the bus must be going through but my prayers are with all of them. RIP little man.

I feel so bad for all involved! If that were me, I would quit driving a bus after that. I honestly don't know how I would react if something like that ever happen to me. I would be devastated I know that.

I feel badly for everyone involved. I do have a question though; why was the child there and why wasn't his parent paying more attention to what he was doing and where he was at?

apparently Fox, the child was getting off his bus to go to meet his mom who was also a bus driver and as he got off the bus and was struck by another bus. That's what I got out of the story anyways

So, when the bus opens its doors and those flashing lights come on, the other busses can ignore them because they at the bus garage? Or perhaps the driver of the bus the boy was on turned the bus off before the kid got out. I'm not being crass here, I'm just trying to figure out how this could have been avoided.

I have no clue Fox, but I would guess to say your probably right, she probably turned off the bus and the kid was getting off her bus to go to his mom's bus. Really really sad situation.
