I met MrB. Yikes. I can't believe we've been together this long. I love him more each day :love
 
Lol! He was in Chattanooga visiting a friend of his. It was his friend's girlfriend's birthday, and they were out celebrating. They had stopped at Big River Grille for some drinks and pool before heading down to Nightfall the see The Gourds. I was there with my roomate and some other girls - we'd declared it girls night out, and we'd decided guys were jerks and we (my roomate and I) were not going to date for awhile.

I saw MrB walking from the restroom back to his table, and I jokingly said to my friends, "ooh, I'd take that guy home!" we laughed, and decided I couldn't talk to him since I said no more boys or dates. About 15 minutes later, he was at my table. And we talked forever and ever. And I really did have to take him home - his friends left him there and went to Nightfall without him. :laugh

We've been together ever since :love
 
Also, his friend he was visiting in Chatt married that girl, and they were both in our wedding and are now BabyB's godparents. :love
 
awww what a great story! I have yet to meet that MrB yet...we need to fix that!

My Mom used to hang those from the porch for the birds to make their next in. I didn't know they were so popular :laugh

:laugh They are an awesome bluegrass/Americana band. Neither MrB nor I have had a chance to see them live since then. LOL They do a killer remake of Snoop Dog's "Gin and Juice". It's a bluegrass version. Love me some bluegrass.
 
And thanks for the congrats... We celebrated by him having homemade tacos (I don't eat tacos or ground beef) and Spanish rice, then repeatedly pulling BabyB off the hearth and out of the fireplace, and away from the TV and outta the bathroom.

Awwww.....neat story! I wish for you, MrB, BabyB and any future BabyBs a very long, happy, healthy and prosperous life together!

And we're topping the night off with me sleeping in the guest room! Woohoo! I ant to read, and MrB is passed out all over the bed with my pillow and his, under his head. I decided not to wake him. LOL

We're old.
 
Congratulations! That's sweet! I actually don't recall the exact date that my husband and I met because I kept telling my friends it wasn't going anywhere! :laugh That was 25 years ago!

Runnin' after nephews and one of their friends. I be tired. Oh, I loved the part about your pulling BabyB out of the fireplace, etc. :)
