Besides being good news that a new movie is coming out, I suspect this will be the big test for the end of the brick and mortar movie theater. Of course, that's fine with me. I've been into home theater for years now and have started construction on the dedicated theater room in my basement.

The movie theater business was already winding down, but COVID has all but killed it. AMC almost didn't reopen after the first wave of COVID, but was able to borrow the money to resume operations at least for awhile. I am not optimistic, though, that they will survive.

So get your home theaters ready, change is coming.

My Theater is operational, if not finished (by a long shot)
10' x 5.6' retractable screen.
5.1 Sony Surround sound.
Bose Center speaker, those 4 you sold me as the other four and a cheap sub.
Epson 1080 HD Projector.

My home theater is operational as well. It consists of one 65" TV and....well, that's it. :(
Sorry but I can't invest spend good money to watch the trash out of Hollywood. I'll take "Red Box" for $1 Alex and watch it on my 55" Walmart special tv.

Those JBLs have become quite popular. One of the youtube audio gurus did a review on them and raved about them, and now they are in demand. He actually reviewed them as a stereo pair used with a sub, and said the sound quality was amazing!

I've liked them. I had two different speakers sets for the front and rear speakers and could never get it to sound right. Having matching sets seems much better.

Hmmm... a new sub. I think that will going on my Christmas list. Any suggestions for one that is good without breaking the bank?

Yep. This is the king of budget subs. Actually quite good, and the price is right.

Same for Pee Wee Herman.

A friend of mine loaned me his DVD collection of the complete series of the TV show "Justified". Seasons 3, 4, and 5 were on Blu Ray. I had to spend $60 at WalMart for a Blu Ray player so I could watch them!!! Oh well, at least I now have an up to date home theater system.
