‘Solar paint’ technology could be cheaper alternative to panels: ‘Billions of light-sensitive particles [are] mixed in’

Yes. These are attractive, and look to be durable.

I think over time better technology will make some of the green ideas work. The way it is being pushed by the evil WEF/Greenies/Environmentalists, I fear, now it is just killing the environment with the after waste... the solar panels that the hail took out, now all that mess will go into the landfill/dump.

The windmill blades are so strong they can't do anything with them but cut them up and bury them. It is an ecological mess that will not compost ever.

The car batteries that are using all these minerals and metals that are strip mining the regions that have it, then no place to put the used batteries on the other end. It is a much higher environmental cost that using petroleum fuel.

There are indicators that solar (more correctly, photovoltaic) panels are seeing some technological advances. They've been around for a very long time, but aside from small efficiency gains, they haven't changed a whole lot. And they are getting cheaper due to more modern manufacturing techniques. I bought a 200 watt fold-able panel for my "solar generator" and it was considerable less than they were not long ago.

What people need to realize is that there are economic consequences to using them on any significant scale. Studies are still being done, but it appears that the reflected heat can be quite damaging in certain circumstances.

People need to realize that energy merely changes forms, it's never free or limitless. We often thinks of solar or hydro energy being and benign, but it's not. There are always offsets of some kind.
