More evidence that transgender bathrooms are a bad idea

BTW...being that I'm knowledgeable in video surveillance (one of my secondary businesses); I should let you guys know that I could dress up like a woman and walk into the bathrooms at Target and take high def video and audio of you (generic you) and your children, even while you're in the stalls, and you would never know it

They have cameras so tiny I could hide them in a pair of glasses, a button, a snap or buckle on a shoe, purse, etc. How many times have you sat in a stall and you could see your neighbor's shoe, purse, umbrella, shopping bag, etc under the partition? If you can see it, it can see you.

And I could live stream videos of you over the internet as I am filming you. 4G/LTE smart phones have far more than enough speed to have you all over the internet before you wipe.

I just wanna make sure everyone knows the technology is readily available and surprisingly cheap. I could order most of it from Amazon and have it here before the weekend.
Never. Who would put those things on a bathroom floor? I am grossed out you even thought they would.

As for a shoe, I would say almost always it is a friend when I do go into a public restroom, otherwise there are more than enough stalls most leave one or two between them. (Christmas and event locations are different, those usually do go into line mode to pee.)

We are all aware that the technology exists and has been used before (actually besides streaming, for years and years.) The only thing to prevent that would be to not have bathrooms.

I think you're missing the point. A perv dressed as a woman probably wouldn't care about leaving "her" purse on the floor. And everyone might not be as careful as you, especially children who tend to think with innocent minds.

And I forgot to mention...I could conceal a tiny wireless camera in a roll of TP, a plunger, etc and leave it in a stall. I could easily conceal one in the TP holder while I stood nearby and watched the show. And then there's the ones that record to flash media to be retrieved later.

Heck, some of you might already be on the internet.

Wouldn't hiding cameras already be illegal regardless of the sexual preference of the person hiding them?

Of course, same as any kind of sexual assault, etc.

Point is, these new laws and policies, as well as all the attention to the issue will make it all much easier and possibly give people ideas that might not have thought about it before.

Well with all the new laws and policies in place are you now going to marry your best guy friend, or take video in a women's restroom? I am sure you did not think about it before and now you have ideas. /s

My point is if ill intent or intent to harm is in a person, it is there. Might this make it easier for some, possibly. BUT those with intent to harm would have found a way to do it anyway, as they have for years prior to this bathroom law. The law is not going to make them do it.

And the purpose of laws is to deter illegal behavior through the fear of consequences if you break the law.

Now we're removing some of those laws, and replacing them with the new "in" thing.

Can you seriously not see how there will be negative repercussions from this?

Wait...they removed the law making it illegal to video someone in a bathroom, peeing, without that persons consent?

No, but they let guys into women's restrooms now so long as they claim to be a chick.

Fort Knox would likely get robbed more if it wasn't almost impossible to break in to.

Given that logic, are you for changing laws to remove college campuses from being gun-free zones? I'm guessing you would. But wouldn't that make it easier for determined criminals or crazy people to commit mass shootings since it would be easier to get on campus with a gun?

Real statistics show that places with gun control are usually the highest in crime, where places with lots of guns have fewer crimes.

Kennesaw Ga, where every household is required to have a gun (rarely enforced), one of the safest places in this entire area.

Washington DC, toughest gun laws in the nation. Need I go on?

Guns are typically more of a deterrent than a cause of crime.

I agree with all that but that wasn't my point.

Colorado's concealed weapons law permits people who are at least 21 carry a concealed weapon on college campuses. The law went into effect July 1, 2003, and there has not been one incident on college campuses involving licensed gun carriers. Utah has been allowing licensed gun carriers to carry on college campuses for 10 years and there hasn't been any issues either. Idaho has been allowing licensed gun carriers to carry on colleges for 2 years now and no issues. Texas recently started allowing the same there, no issues.

The left is claiming if Georgia allows licensed carriers (you have to be 21) to carry handguns on campuses, it will turn the campuses into the wild west. That's BS as it has not happened in Colorado or Utah where they have allowed this practice for at least 10 years now. The left cannot show us one incident where a licensed gun carrier has gone campus and started shooting people. The incident several years ago at Virginia Tech was not licensed to carry.

I agree 100% with everything you said. However, on a similar note, many are claiming that allowing transgenders to use whichever bathroom they would like will turn those bathrooms into sleazy sex predator hangouts. Just as has been pointed out above with guns, this isn't likely to be the case.

It seems that there has already been increased incidents of that where transgender bathrooms have been allowed. We've posted several articles to that effect.

Some of the articles were (and I am unsure if they were this thread or not) a college campus in Canada, and the other a man "making a point." At least the two I have read.

Valid points have been made that this is not going to impact the average person and "make" him do something. You have to admit that bathrooms have always been a location that should be considered one that you go and get out. You should not send children alone, ever, or you make accommodations that they are in there alone. Apparently if there is something on the floor, get out, because it is not a woman or transgender leaving a purse on the floor.

I get some are scared, bothered, afraid, and I am not saying that they do not have reason; boogymen have always lived in bathrooms, but I do not think that this law changed that. Maybe in some way it did make some that were lax in safety and sent their children to pee alone rethink that.

So you'll let anyone into your freezer so long as they identify as a non-drinker? :D

This is the better way to handle the issue. I'm fine with this.

Now, using this theory, show one instance where a transgendered person has done harm to a woman or child based on this law.

(And, I will add that I do not open links at work, so if those links posted above show that, please let me know).
