Yeah, let's see how that works out for you

I’ve said from day one it’s a local issue and the responsibility of local authority voted in by local residence and supported by local business leaders. Let them reap their rewards. Once the tax base leaves the cities will quickly become cess pools (more than they are currently). Guess we’ll be vacationing in the Bible Belt from now on.

The federal government does have the right to protect their buildings in those cities. Heck they have to use their own law enforcement to do that because the city doesn't give a damn about enforcing laws to protect those buildings. If I were president, I would use federal law enforcement officers to protect the buildings and at the same time cut off all federal funds from going to those cities.
