Wi Fi Solution question for you nerds :-)

Daughter Colson and Son-in-law, which shall heretofore be referred to as "SIL", are closing on a new (to them) house tomorrow. This real-estate market is bonkers, but that a discussion for another day. The house is not off-the-grid and not but 5 or 6 miles from us, but it is on 2 acres back off the road about 150 yards or so and is not in a subdivision.

I saw a small dish on the property and they are going to ask the owners what service they used at closing tomorrow, but the question is about Wi Fi and the possible lack thereof. Through the wooded area is a very nice, probably $750k house that has Xfinity. SIL contacted them and, of course, they don't service their new house but will be happy to take over 6 grand to run it there. From talking to SIL last night, he said that any Wi Fi available over a satellite service is extremely slow.

Do any of you have any suggestions? They and the grandbabies really need a decent Wi Fi service.

And, as our Amish Bretheren would say, "I Thank Thee"

What @Guard Dad said.

T-Mobile and Verizon offer home internet service that is unlimited.

T-mobile and Verison 5G has to be available on the nearest cell tower, and may not be even though their cellular phone service is. I see this expanding expotentially in the near future. I myself am waiting on Star Link.

If you have a crummy signal from them, it will suck.
