Trump aside, this is a fairly unbiased article that explains the history of race and politics. All it leaves out is the racist remarks made by LBJ, but I guess they didn't want to go there.
It appears the politics of race that were used decades ago are having less of an effect as those events fade and more people are looking at real facts and real statistics now. This is a good thing.
Of interest, not only does the article state that support for Trump has grown within the black community, but 20% want someone other than Trump or Biden. The significant part of that is them not backing Biden; there was a time when most would support the Democrat by default. It's possible that this will actually help Trump.
