I want to see what they plan to impeach him over. To my knowledge, he has not committed any impeachable offenses, and probably nothing that even rises to the level of what Obama did while in office, or what many of the members of congress have done. Asking another country to assist in a security investigation is not against the law or uncommon for a sitting president or AG to do.

The Democrats know that even if they impeach, there is virtually no chance of Trump being removed from office. So I believe this to be purely a political ploy that they hope will give them a snowball's chance of winning the next election. That is likely more criminal than anything Trump has done.

So unless they actually have an impeachable offense on him, I tend to side with Trump on this one.

Good for him....This is nothing more than a hope to smear him so he does not win in 2020 because they don't have a viable candidate.

Their goal is to Impeach Trump and Pence, then they think Nancy can be our President.

Impeachable offences are whatever the House decides they are. Doesn't mean it's valid, will succeed, or is smart politically but it's totally up to them.

It's true that the Constitution is very vague about what "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" means. But there has to be some reason with this. Simply because Trump hurt their feelings or doesn't play their Socialism game does not rise to that level. The whole Ukraine thing against Trump is reeking like one of Colson's farts and frankly is looking far worse for the Dems each day that goes by.

It's a fact they have been calling for impeaching him since before he was inaugurated. First it was the Russian collusion allegation. When Mueller's investigation showed no collusion, they continued wanting to impeach him for obstruction of justice. That fell flat as well. Now it's the Ukrainian thing. Nothing there either. This is nothing more than the left expressing sour grapes because their candidate lost the election and they know they don't have a candidate that can beat him this time. They're throwing crap against the wall hoping something will stick. They're failing miserably at this and it's going to cost them dearly.

The clock is running out on the "impeachment" farce... tick, tock.

There are only a few short weeks until recess, and after the holidays the Democrats will be hitting the campaign trail.

Once you realize that all of their top contenders (sana Biden) are SENATORS,
it becomes obvious that they will not want this dragging out into the spring.

It appears the "experts" have differing opinions.

A Fox News poll now shows 51% of voters want Trump impeached and removed from office. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-poll-record-support-for-trump-impeachment

I think what is hurting Trump the most is his inability to stop tweeting and keeping his mouth shut. These are his two biggest downfalls as a sitting president.

I saw an interesting transcript from a CSPAN interview with the President, they asked why he tweets so much. (I can't seem to find it again)

As I recall, his answer was that it's his only method of communication since the bias in the media prevents his side of any story from getting out. He said he'd quit tweeting tomorrow if he could get unbiased coverage.

I'm not sure I believe that, but it is true that he gets very limited positive coverage from the main news sources.

I always thought it was a fair ploy for him to say what he wants without any media scrutiny or spin, (and that really pisses them off). At times he comes across as being very crass, even to the right,,, but if watch closely, the media tries to make everything he tweets to be uncivil,,, which sort of makes his point.

Keep in mind that he has to make bold strokes to be heard above the idiocy of the left!

I tend to agree about the communication issue, but there are better ways to handle it.

I agree there are much better ways to handle it. I watched his Minneapolis speech last night and cringed. 90% of it was all about him being attacked by the left, while mocking his opponents and calling them names. He sounded like a 12 year old. The last couple of minutes of his speech was completely different as he addressed health care, immigration, the economy, foreign policy etc. Those last couple of minutes he sounded like an adult and presidential. That's how he should sound at all times. I would vote for a good strong conservative if one were to enter the primaries to run against Trump.

I thought the Minneapolis speech at least showed the crap the swampy politicians have done. And yes, he has to be brash to get carried by the MSM... and each sound bite needs to grab like a pit bull at the corruption that has become the norm.

The reasonable Trump negotiates, the brash Trump points out bad things that have been done to the country over the past 50 years.

It does make for the squishy snowflakes to cling to their Beto boob and Bernie... They are so inculcated by the progressive education system, they don't even understand why the Constitution and the Judeo Christian Values that our country was founded on was the reason our country rose above the rest of the world to be a leader and a beacon. Worldwide people would love to live in the USA.

I think there is a more mature way of getting those points across. Trump came across as a 12 year old.
