Getting a jump on it because "She who adores me" is watching Idol and I hate that crap.

Friday - Gym after work, then home to chill a bit

Sat - Weather permitting...working on the pool some more and finish scrubbing the deck carpet. "She who adores me" has a wedding shower to go to. Not sure about the evening, maybe get together with some friends, or maybe stay at home and watch some 3-D.

Sun - AM church, and back in the evening. I don't usually go to the PM service, but I chair a committee that has some bid'ness to handle.

By weekend do you mean that fun event that began for me at 5:00 p.m. today and doesn't end until 9 a.m. on Tuesday? :D

I'll make a good dinner tomorrow night since I'll be home all day. I'm sure some time Friday we'll check out the new Academy Sports as a family. I'm making a solo trip tomorrow. Saturday the kids ARE going to finish their "clean out". :tapfoot2 Saturday evening I'm sitting with my Mom so Dad can go to a singing.

Sunday we may head back to Kennesaw.

Hmmm ... usual today. Work, gym, then home

Saturday, get started repairing some drywall cracks. Tennis match. Hope to have dirt in our garden box, which will mean a trip to get plants.

Sunday, church, chores. Keeping my fingers crossed we will be planting our little garden!

tonight - have a wedding rehearsal to direct tonight then hope to be finished in enough time to catch the last 1/2 of lil RNG's musical again. (IT WAS FANTASTIC!)

Sat- will be working a wedding all day/evening

Sun - church then to the 2pm show of the musical.

Just got out of bed a couple of hours ago after another all night/ 3rd shift day/night at the job site.
Can not wait for this job to end so I can evolve back to a normal schedule, these vampire hours are not healthy on this old man.

I'm beginning to think the garden box was maybe not such a good idea.

Garden box - neighbor built for us. About $250. It's nice, and should last many years. 12' x 5' by 2' on the high side.

Dirt - top soil, nice "garden" soil, cow manure. Having it brought in $290.

Over $500 for a garden.

Not doing this to save money, that's for sure!

I am late to the party with this one but here goes.

Friday evening I went to the gym and some weight training. I did cardio earlier in the day.

Today (Saturday) and walked in the MS Walk to raise awareness and money for Multiple Sclerosis. It was awesome temps for a 5K walk. We had a great time. After the walk, my youngest and I came home, ate some lunch and then went out to watch my wife in her softball tournament at Metro.

Sunday - AM Church (I am singing a Solo), installing server patches and then back to church Sunday eve as well.

MacDaddy,

My husband and I were just talking about this, because we spent about that much on our garden. I know it will save us money, though. I've already harvested about 50 heads of lettuce. At $1.69 a head at Kroger that's over $75 worth already and 90% of the crops haven't even begun to come in yet. Plus, the vast majority of it is a one-time expenditure. In the years to come, your costs will be minimal!

Gen, thanks that helps.

I really like having a garden. My previous ones haven't cost more than $20, and I easily harvested that much the first year.

This one will take a while. Even with bumper crops, I'll never harvest that much.
