I can't believe it's only 19 degrees outside. The tip of the storm is just southwest of Montgomery, AL where freezing rain is occurring. The bulk of the storm is currently in East Texas. It stretches from southern Oklahoma south to Brownsville, Texas. It's all rain in Texas. The snow should hit us around 9pm tonight. The Winter Storm Watch for our area has now been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.

Snow fall amounts of 1-3" are expected north of a line from Columbus to Macon to Augusta.

Snow fall amounts of 3-5" from Lagrange to Madison.

Snow fall amounts of 5-7" north of a line from Rome to Gainesville.

I even made you guys a map.

Its going to be interesting for sure. We were watching the news this morning, they showed a different prediction with each weather report.

I'll go out on a limb and predict we get nothing at all but rain :)

I hope you are right!

I would rather have the snow than freezing rain. It's much easier for emergency service crews to drive on the snow than the ice. I doubt we get just rain because of the predicted cold temperatures below freezing.
