Was Jeffrey Epstein's death suicide or homicide? Dr. Siegel says one appears 'more likely'

Only 25% of deaths by hanging involve a broken hyoid bone. It is most common in older hanging victims hung from a great height by a thin rope. He is older, but he was hung from a bunk bed by a sheet, and was found "leaning forward" apparently with his feet touching the ground.

I'd call that suspicious. Possible? Sure, but highly unlikely.

I can't understand how you could hang "yourself", from a bunk bed where you can stand up? Wouldn't your natural reflexes kick in to make you get back up on your feet?

You can hang yourself that way. If done properly, hanging breaks the neck and doesn't involve choking to death. You would have to somehow jump from the bed and hold your legs up. You're right that if not completely successful, you would stand or even climb back up. It wouldn't be easy, but people do it.

What about the shrieking that was supposedly heard? What is your theory on that?
