Wanted: old tires for gardening

That's very cool unionmom!! I've seen it done before and it really works. Just be careful with the steel belts on tires, sometimes they are very worn and you might get a piece of steel poking out. Good luck!!
 
Sweet! It gets the NG seal of approval!!

It looks like a great way to do potatoes in a rocky yard or in a yard with septic lines, etc ... anywhere you don't want to or can't dig up well for taters.

The kids are going to be amazed when you harvest them. You know this is the month to plant taters, right?? February/early March is potato planting time. You better find those tires in a hurry!!
