Think I just heard it went down with a vote of 245 ;D to 189. WOW! I have to go find the actual story. Good Job by the House Republicans!

I was reading an article somewhere yesterday that was about why the Senate will not put this repeal on their floor for a vote. It seems quite a few of the Democrats who will be running for re-election for their senate seats next year had asked Reid not to put it on the floor for a vote because they don't want their votes against the repeal to hurt them in the election next year.

Senator Demint says he is going to get it to the floor. Should be interesting.
 
I don't see how he will be able to do it, but I wish him luck.
 
I'm glad, but it probably won't get any farther. The senate probably won't pass it, and Barry would veto it anyway.

But it at least sends a strong message.

The only way it could possibly get on the senate floor for a vote is if it's added as an amendment to another bill. That would be worth a try. Add it to something the Dems really want passed. I say we do this any way we can even if it freaks them the heck out.
 
I think the repubs will find a way to tag it something the dems want. This should be interesting this year in the Senate. You know the House is going to keep up the pressure.
 
If the Republicans tack it onto a bill the Dems want, watch the Dems call the appeal ammendment "pork."

oh you know they will.

But the house can keep the law from being funded, so it will die one way or another.
