I bought one of these reconditioned from a "deal a day" site for $59, and I am seriously impressed at how well it works. This thing shoots crystal clear HD video, and comes with nice software too.

Sam's sells them for $149. And, they are waterproof to 10'. I am amazed, this thing is way better than $1000 tape camcorders I've had in the past. I put a 16 gig SD card in it and only used about a gig for the wedding.

It's about the same size as my smart phone.

That is the one my son uses for his movies. Check it out under water GD. It is really cool. :thumbsup

I may get something in the next couple of years, maybe when I'm ready for grandkids!

I still have a very nice Sony digital camcorder. Although it shocked/scared me the other day when I tried to buy tapes for it - they are almost nowhere to be found!

Technology changes too dang fast, doesn't pay to buy top-end electronics.

The only thing I wish it had is an optical zoom; it only has digital. But I guess you only get so much for the price.

It is a full 1080p resolution.
