If you ever wanted to take a long day trip and go to the Unclaimed Baggage center in Scottsboro, Alabama, I have some advice.... Don't Go!
It's a waste of time. All that stuff is way overpriced.

That's all. Have a great day!

Thanks for sharing, the Queen and I have always wanted to stop there but just never made time.

Wife and her sister went a few years back and said the same thing. You can find the same crap at Goodwill.

Anyone remember Peachtree Salvage? Their operation was similar. As I recall, they bought all the un-deliverable packages from UPS by the truckload, then tried to sell whatever they found in side.

Many years ago (over 50), my folks bought an unopened suitcase at an unclaimed baggage auction. When they got it home, they found it had a few clothes, and a lot of stuff about an ex service man who had been going to college. His college yearbook was in there, along with several framed photos of him in uniform. They were able to track him down and return his belongings. He was truly grateful. His bag had been lost when he flew back home after graduating college, and he thought he'd never see his stuff again.
