Trump has plan to remove US dependency on China supply chain

I've been thinking about all this...as usual, the Democrats have tried to use every crises as a political tool. But Ironically, I think their actions will help Trump more than hurt him. All their overreach and excessive spending during the pandemic. The whole Russia thing has blown up in the Dem's faces and the corruption trail leads back to the Obama/Biden administration. Pelosi has become even more universally hated throughout all this. Trump's approval rating is up and Biden's lead in the polls has evaporated.

It's Trump's to lose.
 
We need China as a market, and borders that don't see trade see armies. That being said, I'm all for strategic supplies being produced in favored countries. I don't have the list of things or countries, but I think that medical supplies would fall there and North America and Europe would qualify. I would probably add Japan and South Korea. They aren't going anywhere as allies.
