Thoughts are with Naturegirl today

The latest that I have ...

"...shes in some pain, and she nor Don slept last night, but they got her moving around and she could be coming home this afternoon..."

Bless her heart...that is the worst thing after surgery...the discomfort and not being able to sit like normal or sleep like normal. OK, maybe not the worst thing, but one of the worst things.

Still prayin', NG!

There have been some complications (pain, fluid, etc.) and she is still in the hospital but they are expecting her to be heading home today.

Thank you, precious, for the update. Bless her heart.

I just hope, if she does go home today, it is because she is really ready to go and not because they are giving her the bum's rush to get her out before the weekend.

Agreed, but I found with my father's many hospitalizations in his latter years that they didn't differentiate between weekday/weekend like they used to. So if he needed to stay and go home on a Sunday or whatever, that's what they did.

Amen! I am so sorry to hear there are any problems at all. :( :pray

Awwww thanks everyone!! Apparently I got a little too much fluid for my body to flush out during the surgery. Might have had something to do with those gallons of water I drank the weeks before.

Anywho, I wasn't a big deal, they just wanted to be sure it didn't turn in to pneumonia, which it didn't. I'm only taking extra strength tylenol during the day, the stronger stuff at night.

I tried to tell them I don't do pain meds well. Once they let me come off of them and I could walk around, problem solved. Well, with that & lasix for a couple of days :)
