Thoughts and prayers for a local young boy I know of...

Jacob [Helvey], age 3, was in a horrible accident on Christmas Eve and was accidentally caught between two floors in the elevator shaft in their home. The elevator was on top of him and a neighbor was trying to keep the elevator up while the paramedics performed CPR on him. The Jaws of Life had to be used to get the elevator off of Jacob and he was immediately taken to Northside Forsyth Hospital where they were able to revive him. He was then air-lifted to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where he is currently receiving care.
