First Scenario:​

Trump: I believe Trump tower was under surveillance, wire tapped, whatever you want to call it.

Intelligence Agencies: No, there's not evidence of that.

Press: Why don't you apologize and shut up about it?


Second Scenario:

Intelligence Agencies: Russia interfered in our election.

Press: Trump was in bed with Russia.

Intelligence Agencies: There is no evidence Trump or his staff were in collusion with Russia.

Press: Doesn't matter. We continue to make the claim.

Trump: Shut up about it.

Press: No...keep looking for something.

Oh it ticks me off too but there is no way I am going to let these morons steal my happiness and joy! I will just pray for them. They need some God in their lives! :emoji_bow:

First Scenario:

Trump: I believe Trump tower was under surveillance, wire tapped, whatever you want to call it.

Intelligence Agencies: No, there's not evidence of that.

Trump: Doesn't matter. I'll continue to make the claim.

Press: Shut up about it.

Trump: No, it happened despite me having no proof.


Not really that much different from the Trump/Russia scenario but with roles reversed.

Pretty much what I am suggesting with the exception that no one ever insists that the press shuts up about Russia. The press and even a large majority of republicans buy the Russia influence without showing ANY of us the slightest shred of proof. We're just supposed to buy it because they say it's true.
 
This is one of those things that may never be made public, ever. But there is growing evidence that "O" used a foreign intel agency to conduct the eavesdropping. If this can be proven, it is considered a "High Crimes" action that may qualify for the charge of Treason.

But I suspect it will be swept under the carpet before any charges can be brought.....but if..... if it happens, this could also bring down the "C's" house of cards also...... if someone has the guts to go forward with it.
