sugarcane and plums from plastic bags, which have been banned since February 2019.

You just can't make this stuff up. Is Bloomberg secretly the President of Kenya? If the globalist have their way this will be coming to a neighborhood near you.

They're wanting to ban plastic straws and bags and use paper bags and paper straws to save the ecology, but I remember when they ruled out paper bags and and straws because it costs too many trees. How do they get it both ways???

If they were serious about reducing waste they could make it mandatory to use only bags recycled from the ocean waters. People could driver their electric vehicles to the beach, remove some plastic waste from the ocean, and take a nice swim while they wait in line for a battery recharging station before heading back home. At least they'll get a day at the beach.

We had lunch at Mellow Mushroom Sunday, and they had paper straws. They were getting soft by the time we finished eating.

Maybe they should add Viagra to them?

So, you go to the store and get some meat on a tray wrapped in plastic, juice in a plastic jar, coffee and milk in plastic jugs, bread wrapped in plastic, air fresheners with plastic bodies, sodas in plastic bottles, etc., and they're worried about a plastic grocery bag?
Liberal logic

One reason the Queen and I don’t eat there often. Friends of ours take metal straws from home with them when they go. They even gave us a set for a gift. I’ve never used them and never will. But thanks (said with a big southern smile).

I like this!

I hate those paper ones. I'm going to do this next time we go. And I'll bring them in a plastic ziplock bag that I'll leave on the table too with a single extra straw in it just so they know why it's there...
