The "Other" Places

LisaC

I'm here to spin the moral compass.
In one of the topics yesterday, someone posted that the post on other boards outside of our little area and they stick to the highway for local info. What types of other boards do you post on?

Besides the other local one, a couple of national political boards.

But aren't those flooded with so many people that you can't have a meaningful discussion?

Yeah...they're not so much chat boards as place-to-register-your-opinion boards. :D

I post on a huge trade related forum. Actually, I'm a moderator there.

And I post on a fitness forum, though I'm about sick of a few idiots there.

And the other local board, occasionally.

I post a couple of places. They are all private boards (invite) and most do know each other. One I just check on, another maybe just a post a day.

i only have time for the hwy... I do go to the "other place" from time to time just too peek

i have made like 20 comments this year

Like mei lan, I have a couple other "political boards" I post on. You accumulate friends just like here. It doesn't take long to figure out who you're going to get along with.

It's better for me that I never have to meet those "others" in person. Now keep in mind, I'm not much different there than I am here, just a few more responses that I'll refrain from on a local community board.

Mainly here, I do go to the other one and read mostly, but post every now and then

Recently I haven't had a lotta time to post anywhere, Iza been a workin my tail off, ...
oh wait a minute I don't have much tail left cuz I worked most of it off last week.
No complaints though in this economy I'll take all the work I can get.
The HWY iz da place ta be.
