Well, my old Ford may not be "dead" but it is gone. No complaints. I bought it new in 2006 and it ran without a hitch for 18 years. I stand corrected....it did have a "hitch", but it was supposed to....below the bumper. Since I'll be driving both grandbabies to school next year, a regular cab wasn't going to cut it. I've been looking for a while and the Good Lord smiled on me this last weekend. Now I got all those fancy buttons that Mrs. Colson has in her car. You know, for rolling the windows down and adjusting the side mirrors. I mean, what will they think of next? Of course, I won't complain about 420 hp either

The prices are crazy. It's true that it was priced higher, but the Vette was 3 years old when I bought it. It was a great deal at the time considering its excellent condition and just 22k miles. But it wasn't my daily driver and unfortunately, my old Ford was getting a little looooong in the tooth. No matter how hard I tried to dress it up.

But it wasn't my daily driver and unfortunately, my old Ford was getting a little looooong in the tooth. No matter how hard I tried to dress it up.

I love that blue color. My F-150 on order will be a very similar blue.

Thanks! Me too. I've always loved that shade of blue. It's called Glacier Blue. Mrs. Colson kind of preferred the darker "Lake Shore Blue", but this was her second choice. The Lake Shore blue wasn't an option in the ZR2 anyway.

The prices are insane! I still can't get over what I paid for the RAM, and it's not even the very high end trim level. I was buying one ton KUVs at work not so long ago for less than this truck cost.

But, it's paid for now, so I guess I need to get over it. Not sure I'll ever buy another one, I haven't even hit 12,000 miles yet.

I hope to keep my mileage low living only 9 minutes from work. I am assigned a company vehicle, but I take Granddaughter Colson to school about 3 days per week. Next school year it will be both grandbabies. That was actually one of the motivating factors in getting something new. I have been only able to take the one grandbaby in the Ford and it had to be in the front seat. 2 would be almost impossible with car seats not to mention less safe. Now granted, I didn't have to buy this particular high end truck, but you know how it is. As BIG Jim Hamill with the Mighty Kingsmen Quartet would say, "If you're gonna do it.....DO IT!"

In this video you can see Andrew Ishee on the piano. He played keyboards for all the Pioneers recordings, along with randy miller on the guitar. He played multiple instruments on the recordings. Good stuff I'll never forget.
