Democrat Leaders Announce Brief Moratorium On Calling For Political Violence

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After a string of mail bombings targeting Democrats ended in the arrest of a Florida man, Democrat leaders announced the commencement of a brief moratorium on calling for political violence against their foes.

Democrats said they would cease calling for violent attacks on conservatives "at least until this whole mail bomb thing is out of the news cycle."
"Once all this blows over, we will resume demonizing our opponents and calling for mobs to harass people we disagree with in public," said Maxine Waters at the press event. "We really thought our words would only incite violence against the right, and hadn't really thought about it going back the other way. But now that we see how destructive and detrimental violence really is, we'll just cool our jets for a bit."
"We're not saying we're going to stop calling for violence altogether—we're just gonna lay low for a while," Hillary Clinton chimed in. "Then it'll be back to business as usual."

I don't know if I believe that any more. Didn't hear about a lot of convictions from the Baltimore Riots of last year.
 
IMO... the pendulum swings...

For a while... these anti-American folks that get elected get away with their POO...

Then they are held accountable.

Thankfully, the pendulum is swinging the correct way currently... just wish it would not swing back the other way in the future...
However history suggests it will.

A dummy with "GOP" written on it and a sign bearing Rep. Marsha Blackburn's name was found hanging from a tree in Tennessee.
The doll was wearing a dunce cap, and the sign reading "Marsha" three times had an "X" drawn over it.
It also featured an additional sign that said "STOP THE HATE."
FOX 17 reported that residents in the city of Shelbyville, where the doll was found, were outraged.

The ads/commercials have been - vitriolic - up here. The candidates, thankfully, have toned it down a notch or two the last couple of weeks. But the 3rd party, non endorsed, ones have gotten much worse. They've gotten so bad, and frequent, that I've taken to simply turning off the radio and TV when they start. Never seen it so bad, and this is compared to the ones I saw down your way a couple of weeks ago.
 
Just my opinion

After the election...

It is time for those of us who are tired of the hate and bias in the media... to QUIT watching/listening (100%) to the outlets that are the farthest to that side! I was in a Zaxby's for lunch last week... the TV had CNN on it... I told the manager I would not buy there and would not be back unless they changed it away from fake news. She changed it... and the next day it was still on FOX!

One way to deal with it... is to make them go broke!

Thinking of the song 'Imagine'...
Imagine a world without CNN... Imagine a world without Rachael... etc... grin!
