Then the argument will be “I’m still making more staying home” while overlooking the small part about someone is actually working and paying taxes which is funding that check. Just kidding, they just print it.

Speaking of bonuses, we got our stimulus check today. Ok, it’s not really a bonus but it’s nice to get a small portion back especially since we also got our property tax assessment today and coincidentally it’s for almost exactly the same amount.

Oh well, I’ll take it.

I will give them this just when I thought I had heard the stupidest idea to blow tax money ever they "Trump" it with a stupider idea. People this is the tip of the iceburg in an election year. Mark my words in the next months there will be attempted bailouts for the airlines, railways , hotels, food service, etc. The politicians let the fiscal dam bust now there will be no stopping the flood. I have actually had more than one die hard Trumper ask me what I think of DJT now that the stimulus checks are arriving. My straight faced answer, I think less of him than I did before. JMO.
 
Going out on a limb here and saying that if you stop paying them more to sit on their ass than they cleared before, they are going to sit on their ass. Cap UI at 80 percent of their previous net and they'll go back to work.

Rand Paul famously said that we don't have to punish the rich, we just need to stop paying them. The same applies here. You get what you pay for.
