Senate Dems float ending filibuster ahead of possible Biden presidency

This news story also demonstrates the hypocrisy of the Democrats. They wanted the filibuster as it is to prevent a Republican majority to get what it wants. Now that they see Biden has a big lead in the polls and they think they will get just enough seats to take the majority; they want to change the rules to benefit them.

It's the Dems fault little gets done in the Senate.
 
Every time one group gets rid of an option to block stuff, it tends to backfire on them, such as getting rid of the nuclear option. If the Dems pull this off and then Trump gets elected and the GOP holds onto the senate, they will have cooked their own goose.

Their last Senate rules change came back to bite them in the ass.
