Seattle public schools replacing gifted students program to be more 'inclusive,' citing diversity concerns

I identify as being gifted. <sigh>.

This country is going to hell in a handbasket.

There was a famous story about this. I read in in college I think. In it everyone was handicaped down to the lowest person in their field in the name of equality. Two dancers were forced to dance with heavy weights to make them less graceful. They threw off the weights one dance and were shot as I recall for not putting them back on. I remember thinking how silly it was back then. I weep for what could be.
