Sander's opposes Trump's rule restricting green cards to immigrants who would be dependent upon welfare programs in the US. Immigration were enacted decades ago preventing green cards to immigrants who did not have the means to support themselves financially if permitted to enter the US. Sanders wants to reverse that rule.
Sanders has intentionally been avoiding answering one important question about his Medicare for all proposal; how to pay for all of it. It has been pointed out that this proposal would cost more than $50 trillion. His plan calls for tax increases on all working people, as well as corporations. Those tax increases would pay for almost half the cost. He claims the tax increases would be less expensive for us because his plan would eliminate the cost of insurance premiums, deductibles, and other out of pocket medical costs. He's attempting to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and millennials are buying it.
Those who blindly support him, support this utopia dream he's trying to present; the same utopia dream the Communist Manifesto presented. We already experienced high unemployment rates when corporate taxes were increased to levels much higher than what they are currently. It only stands to reason if corporate taxes were increased to previous levels, those companies that returned to the US when the Trump tax cuts were passed, would leave once again taking their jobs with them resulting in huge recession in this country making those who lose their jobs dependent upon government assistance - welfare.
He wants to eliminate the use of fossil fuels and coal, stating those who would lose their jobs in those fields could get new jobs created by his New Green Deal. First of all, he wants to eliminate the current energy jobs before any jobs are created from the New Green Deal. He knows that, but he doesn't care if people become unemployed because of it because the environmental policies are much more important than people.
He wants government to take control of our current energy industry. Think Venezuela here and how unreliable their electrical plants are. Speaking of Venezuela, he loves their government and sees nothing wrong with what they are doing turning a blind eye to the suffering of the people there. Bernie calls himself a humanitarian? That's a joke.
All of his economic and environmental policies all lead to massive unemployment numbers and he knows that, but he doesn't want to admit that because he wants a government that completely controls the people and he wants to be that leader of such a government. All his adult life, he was a big supporter of the USSR, Cuba, and now Venezuela. These are all countries where the government had complete control and dominance over their people and the people were poor.
Sanders wants a government that he has complete control over so he can control you. He wants to be a dictator. I see that because in all his policy proposals, he absolutely refuses to compromise.
