It's rare to find a remake that was better than the original.

I'm about 25 minutes in and already thinking I should have taken this time to setup my home theater instead of watching this lame movie.

Yeah, it seems they feel they have to change the script to make it "original" and they almost always make it worse.

Book adaptations are almost as bad, the movie makers screwed up the ending of "The Martian" sooooo badly by re-writing it so that the woman commander saved the day but doing it because of emotion rather than letting the most qualified do their job the way the book did it.

Nope. I stopped watching after about 45 minutes. Too boring and too predictable.
