All I know is that he was in a serious motorcycle accident this afternoon. He's been life-flighted to Grady. He's in serious condition. :'(

Him and his family are very special to my family. I'd appreciate your prayers for them.

Additional info: accident happened on I-75 and involved an 18 wheeler. I-75 was closed.

We were caught in the backup from that. We prayed for him, not knowing who it was, of course. Please keep us updated.

I just saw on the other site that he did not survive the accident. My prayers for his family and friends. :pray

Oh, man...I am so, so sorry. We will keep the family and friends in our prayers, Madea. :'( :'( :'(

Jeff and his family are incredible people. You will never know what a loss this is to his family, friends and this community. The stories are countless. Jeff survived heart disease and a horrific procedure, and his wife survived breast cancer. I am thankful, as I am sure many, many others are, that he did see both of his daughters college graduations, the heart procedure gave him that.

We were planning a fish fry/old time singing. :'(

I am so sorry Madea. I'll be praying for his family & all who loved him. Sounds like he will be missed by many. :(

I'm just seeing this

I can't believe it :'(

I knew Jeff very well. We did several programs together and he was always very kind to me. I'm SO VERY sorry to hear this. My prayers will be with his dear family.

The Cartersville Patch is reporting this morning that it was a 1 vehicle accident. He may have lost control by getting caught in the wind sheer of an 18 wheeler.

I still can't believe it. I know he's singing with the saints now. Lord be with his family and comfort them. :pray
