PAULDING COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS RECOUNT

Looking at the live stream, it's interesting how many of the counters are not wearing masks.

Looks like they are only recounting the presidential race, there are three stacks and each ballot is moved to one of them. Two stacks get most of the votes, assuming that is Biden and Trump and the odd third stack is the libertarian.

It would be interesting to know of those that voted libertarian, if that candidate wasn't there, which way would they have voted? Did they take more votes from Trump than Biden or would they have just not voted?

Probably a 'NO' vote, then vote down ballot,,, or maybe a 'Write in'. Interesting that I think it's Nevada that has a 'Neither' selection...

Exit polls show that about a quarter would vote Biden, a quarter Trump, and a half would have left the Presidential race blank. It varies some by state of course, with their leanings matching their state as a whole.

Sorry but I don’t believe 50% of any group who voted in the General Election would leave the Presidential race blank. Sure, there are always some who do or write in Mickey Mouse but generally speaking even most Libertarians eventually pick one. I do, however, believe many will skew the exit polling by giving inaccurate answers. I’ve done that on many text and phone polls.

I gave serious thought to leaving it blank before I was convinced that Jo Jorgensen would do a good job.
