Ok, the Flag Retirement totally rocked!!

If you didn't get out there to see this, you really missed a chance to get goose bumps!! Boy Scout Troop 687 and Dobbins Middle School Chorus were amazing. I have seen a lot of flag retirements but this one was extra special. Thanks RNG for putting this together. :love

It really was a moving ceremony! I can't get over how well the chorus mixed in well the scouts ceremony..it was as if they had rehearsed it for months, and they only did it one time and that was the ceremony! I was very proud of how well it went.

We had some great performances during the weekend! I was very happy with all the entertainment! It turned out fantastic! The sound guy John was simply amazing. If anyone ever needs a dj for a birthday party, wedding or whatever..he is the best!

Oh I definitely agree. He was amazed to find after doing this for three years, it's a charity event. He had no idea it was for all non-profits. He just couldn't believe so many people did this for free!! I think he was a little proud to be a part of it, too.
