I am going to my very 1 st "black church" today

My hubby has become good friends with a 90's star/singer and he asked chad what we do on Christmas eve. Chad told him nothing but staying at home and watching Christmas movies. So he wants us to go hang with him. My husband said yes so we are about to head out.

So I am having a soulful Christmas this year... He told chad I will not stand out because I am white he sand I am gonna stand out because I stand out everywhere I go because my light is always shinning. So with that said I have to go powder my nose

Love y'all and have a very merry Christmas

I've been to a few and enjoyed them. Different style of worship, but good. They tend to be more outspoken and spirited, and the music is very exciting.

Maybe not something I'd want to do every Sunday, but the few times I went were very worshipful.

I've always wanted to go. But most of my "black friends" go to mixed churches. (Man, that sounds awful! :)) ) I did attend my first Methodist church last Sunday.

My great-grandpa was a Methodist Minister for 51 years. Needless to say, I grew up in the Methodist Church. :)
