No New Year's Party this year

We normally don't make it until midnight anymore so we catch up on it the next year...I mean the following morning. We haven't missed anything yet worth staying awake for, much less feel miserable for.
 
Stopped going out when the Paulding Chamber of Commerce/Builder's Association quit having their party. The last few were at the Senior Center next door to the jail. They had food, live band/DJ music, dancing, full bar and a reverse lottery for $10k. I made it to the final 10 numbers one year but was out at like 8 to go. Bruce Harris always came and would give free rides home from deputies if anyone had too much to drink. My wife doesn't drink at all and I usually kept it to 10-12 beers so we never had to use the county Uber. I rarely make it to midnight now days.
