New York City Vaccine Mandates

Many businesses are now required by law to force customers to show proof of vaccination. From what they said on FOX News, the burden in squarely on the businesses to carry this out. First violation is $1000 fine, second is $10,000.

Opinions of the vaccine aside, I never thought I would see such madness in my country. Government telling business they must make their customer "show their papers" (get the reference?) to enter the establishment.

Gutfield brought up a good point...in NYC, only about 30% of the black residents are vaccinated, where a considerably larger percentage of whites are. How long until the restaurants are filled with white people and the black folks are forced to eat outside? I see all kinds of issues coming from this.

Yeah, it's the right of private businesses. And people have the right to choose whether or not they shop there.

But this is a clear overreach of government power. A year and a half ago, we never would have stood for such.

They just reported on FOX that there are NO medical exemptions for this law. If you have a medical reason why you can't be vaccinated (there are some), you can't enter these businesses.

Also no exemption for natural immunity.

Again, it’s more proof that the goobermint is skating liability while placing it squarely on businesses. Sickening.
