So I announced I don't want to live in a house anymore... I mean I am kinda stuck right now but once everything gets straightened out I wanna move to a cute condo, no yard work, small area, no repair bills, less to clean, less to heat and cool and NO YARD WORK!!!!

He thinks I am crazy but then when I mentioned how the utility bills would be a lot cheaper and his commute to work would be a lot shorter he was on board

so am I crazy or just going through a phase

Depends...well, you are crazy, but perhaps not for this reason. :D But it depends on if you're one of those people what don't mind livin' next to people. A city folk, IOW. My brother wouldn't mind it at all, and I guess I could do it, but I wouldn't like it. I'd rather deal with the upkeep stuff that comes with a house.

nope, just some place smaller and cheaper... my power bill was almost 400... i am broke after paying that

I hear you on the power bill! Ugh.

I would love to live in a downtown area. Condo, apartment, penthouse!! I used to love when I would stay summers with my aunt in Manhattan and walk everywhere and everything was just there. No yard work and my chores took 5 minutes. :)

We moved to a duplex with a golf course as our view from the front door. Very quiet, dead end street with a farm at the end and horse pasture behind us. Nice neighbors, no yard work, utilities are MUCH lower and it's only 1.5 mile drive for M to get to work...and for me to get to my work. Best thing we've done for ourselves in a long time!

So, no, you aren't crazy. :)

Not me, I want even more land around me.

A man after my own heart. My dream is having a house sort of nestled in the mountains in the middle of 500 acres that lie at the end of a little dirt road. :D

Well, now! If you're talking Manhattan, that's something else entirely!!! NYC is my favoritest city in the world, and I truly think I could live there for awhile, as long as I knew I could escape to the country when I needed to. I think. :D I LOVE THAT TOWN!!!

It is nice being able to run naked outside if I want to.

Not that I would ever do such a thing...

Yes I do! Downtown or park view, I am not picky! I was born in New York and all my earliest memories are Christmas in the city. Skating, window shopping, broadway, and Santa @ Macys! They are priceless.

we have decided after the dd graduates we will start getting ready to transition to small quarters and out of PC
