her wisdom teeth that is...

I am not looking forward to this and paying half ( what insurance don't cover)

so who is the best oral surgeon around these here parts

We used someone over on Mulkey Rd; forget the name.

Piece of cake though. She came through just fine and bounced right back. Kids are funny when they are stoned on drugs. :))

Just keep those sockets irrigated so they don't get infected.

Our oldest had some teeth removed (not wisdom) a few years ago. We used this practice (recommended by our dentist.) It was a good experience.

They have numerous offices too if somewhere else is more convenient. My child has had 7 surgery's with them. I would not recommend any other practice.

That poor child! Why seven surgeries, if I may ask?

My daddy always told me NOT to pour water on a socket or you'd get kilt!

I had mine out probably 25 years ago at a place in Smyrna. The doctor was a major perv! When I woke up he started telling me what all the nurse did to me (think sexual stuff) while I was knocked out. Apparently she was used to it...just shook her head and rolled her eyes like it was the norm.

A nurse friend told me later that he had quite a reputation around the medical community for being a scumbag.

Poor child? He had drugs! Poor mom and dad...we had to pay a lot!
Oh, BTW Sadie, your medical will pick up a lot of what you dental will not for wisdom teeth! Make sure you have it submitted to both.
My child had three (3) sets of teeth. :faint Including one that grew from the roof of his mouth up through his nasal cavity. :faint Nobody has visited the dentist, orthodontist, oral surgeon more than me. :faint

Yes he is! Actually the surgeons had told us it is not as rare as you would think. It was more rare when he was at Kennestone hospital in surgery to remove one that was growing sideways and him sitting straight up in surgery to tell them they are noisy and hurting him! NO FLIPPIN JOKE! You know they were thrilled to have to come out and report THAT to us. It is all pretty hysterical now, but at the time I was a mess. He was fine BTW. He remembers all of that, but was never really in bad pain.

I'm a big fan here, too. My youngest had his wisdom teeth removed when he was a senior in HS. They were wonderful, took a couple of hours just to find a vein, they ended up putting the meds in his foot. He didn't feel a thing and had absolutely no trouble, very little pain. His wisdom teeth were growing in sideways.
