Looking for an honest septic tank service

Hey all,

Anybody know of an honest septic tank company? We used B & B years ago, and they were great! But my husband called them today and they are no longer doing individual residences.

We just discovered a sink hole in our drainage field... :(

Madea, can you pm me who that was so I don't call them? I want to have mine cleaned out while I'm gone and I don't want to use someone who gave someone else a bad experience.

It must be something in the air. We need to have ours pumped, well I guess they would have to find it first :))
So, LTD do you know a great septic person? I know you (and now us) know a great plumber.

We used Skyline and they were fine. I believe it was $185 back in 2007. When you are getting quotes be sure to tell them how far it is from where they can park their truck to the septic tank. Some charge extra if it's over about 30 feet or so.

I think that's who we used. I'll have to go home and check. While it wasn't entirely their fault, they ran over our water line driving the truck to pump the tank. (There really wasn't another way to get closer.) It was their handling of it afterwards (attitude) that left a bad taste in my mouth. It ended up being that blue poly pipe and we couldn't repair, we had to replace over 400 ft. Cost us hundreds and they sent a check for $50. Like I said, some of that couldn't be helped really. And it wouldn't be fair, considering all circumstances, to ask them to pay much more than that, it was just the attitude.

I posted some info above. My review really isn't that bad. Of course, if someone wants me to remove, I will.

I know. We had a mixed experience, too. We hired a service to fix our pump. (Our drainage field is higher in elevation than our house.) They dug up the yard and it cost $$$ thousands. We thought maybe we had been boondoggled. But, later, the pump broke and they dug up the yard again and replaced it for free. It has worked very well ever since, so maybe they weren't so bad after all. Still in all, though, we're not keen to invite them back...

That's who we used about three years ago...they were great with us. Very professional and cleaned up the ground where they had to dig in as well.

Madea, we had to do the blue poly crap as well, but not in conjunction with having the septic thingy done. Cost $1725. At least they didn't have to tear up the concrete driveway; they have a tool they bored under the driveway and ran the pipe through.

AWS Septic

Guard Dad,

Mr. Willoughby came to our house a few days ago, and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He believes he can fix our problem for way less $$ than we were worried it might cost! Thank you very much for the recommendation.

Cool! He's a good guy. Tell him Ken recommended him...the one who bought his other business a few years ago.
