Lips or No Lips

Do you feel it is acceptable for a woman to reapply lipstick at the table after the meal?

I voted no on this one. I will excuse myself from the table for this purpose. I mean, really, what is the difference between this and a man reaching for a toothpick?! :eek: lol
 
I'm not a huge fan of lipstick. Maybe a little gloss, that's all.

My feelings about make up....if it looks like you're wearing make up, you have on too much.
 
I voted no, as would Amy Vanderbilt and Emily Post, God rest their souls. It is polite to take any grooming needs away from the table.

While I do like lipstick, you are correct on this point. If other people who aren't looking for it notice it, it's too much.

Not appropriate. Everyone knows that applying lipstick should be done only while you are in the car and can look in the rearview mirror - preferably while stopped in traffic. :-*
