All my life, Libya had belonged to Moammar Qaddafi. (I would spell it right but a google search turned up 58 different spellings. I can see why this man is so angry, heck, he can't get anyone to spell his name right.) Anyway, this towel thug is almost gone. Good riddance to you MQ........hell is waiting for you after your people put a bullet in your head.
 
The problem now becomes a power vaccum... and those rebels
have quite a few bad apple elements helping them seize control.

I am glad to see the dictator fall and
worried about what may replace him.

This is the logic that will be used to keep us entrenched there for the next ten years.

I wouldn't be surprised if it became an Islamic state.
 
Oh, you can bet that the future for Libya isn't a pretty one. The middle east is more unstable now than I can ever remember. Sometimes I wonder if it wasn't a good thing to have a dictator in those type of countries rather than what they have today. Islam is NOT about personal liberties so why do we think we can force it on them.

I seem to remember a "Mission Accomplished" poster some 8 years ago. I fail to see how the fall of Qadafi is any different from the fall of Saddam. Obama just wrote a check his butt can't cash for purely political reasons. There is not one US Security reason for our involvement in Lybia. Obama is nation building toward his dream of a global social democracy.
