The new Chevrolet Caprice PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle) SCREAMS like a wild Indian! :eek: Ever since Ford ceased making the Crown Vics, agencies have been looking for replacement vehicles that will "do the job". I've talked to many a po-po who has said the Charger doesn't have enough room, but that problem has been eliminated with the new V8, 301 horsepower Caprice.

I took this one out for a test drive today and it would be nothing short of dangerous if driven by a bad guy. I have never, ever driven a Crown Vic that would have a ice cubes chance in heck against it. It is, without a doubt, the fastest patrol vehicle I've ever driven. As the Crown Vics are surplused, all of our folks will be driving them.

Cool. I'm still stunned they stopped making the Crown Vic/Marquis. And Town Cars. Dang.

For the last few years they kept the Crown Vic alive for the police only. It will take some getting used to. We've been driving those things for decades. I just wish we had a couple of Corvette Cruisers :DN You couldn't haul arrested people in them, so I guess only the supervisors would be driving them...Oh, well ;D

My bad...I'm not surprised though. I took that thing out on I-75 on the way back to the office and I feel it could go from 75 mph to 120 mph and not even break a sweat...I said I "feel" it could do that....I have no way of knowing for certain... :Ninja
