Get my $800 new water heater home, open it up and find that it's been hit in the rear and there is damage on the bottom. Would it be *that* hard for these workers to take care moving the merch on and off the truck?

Call the help line to determine if its safe to install, and while in que, the bloody cordless phone battery dies with no warning.

Just ain't my day. Only good news is that I haven't cut the old one out yet, I can turn the water back on if I have to.

Ugg.

I'd take it back.

Rheem told me to take it back when I sent pictures, so I boxed it back up, drug it back up the hill from the backyard on the hand truck and took it back. Had them unbox #2 because it had box damage, and sure enough, it was beat to crap too. Got #3 down from the upper rack and box damage, so unboxed it.... yep, beat to crap too, damage just like #1.

Got #4 down and the box looks good, and moving them with an open box is a pain, so I took it. I'll unbox tomorrow, I'm too tired tonight after spending 1- 1/2 hours trying to find one that wasn't obviously beat up. They did give me a little discount though, so I appreciated it.

Well, finally got #4 installed and running. Whew. It was not damaged at all. Also a year younger than all those damaged ones.

I had to run back for a longer gas line flex pipe, I noticed they had finally removed the damaged ones from the floor.

I ordered a K&N cold air kit for the RAM. Got it all installed except for the last connection and realized they left out a crucial part.

Had to put the original back in until the part arrives. Called K&N this morning and spent 35 minutes on hold.

Ugh!
