I wonder how accurate

I made a career out of the Army. I loved it and I miss it every day. If I were a young man today, there would be no way in hell I would enlist. Transgenders and homosexuals can enlist now. Although women can't be Rangers, they can go to Ranger School and take a training seat away from a male who can actually serve as a Ranger. It won't be long before women can serve as Infantrymen and in other combat arms military occupational skills. Just imagine that. Heck, you won't be able to say Infantryman anymore. I wonder what they will be called; Infantryperson? We always kidded around calling them "bullet stoppers."

There's no way I'd serve today.

Sadly I have to say I agree. I cherish every minute I served (ok, with a few exceptions) and it saddens me to know I wouldn’t recommend it for my son or grandson now even though that thought goes against everything I stand for personally.

I found this news story today and it really sickens me. They are teaching anti-White critical race theory curriculum at West Point. There is a classroom slide labeled "White Power at West Point," -- which reportedly gave one example of such as a comment made by a cadet in opposition to Affirmative Action. You're a racist for speaking out opposition to the failed affirmative action program enacted by a liberal Congress and President. Liberals want anti-white race theory curriculum in our public schools. Such a program shames people for simply being born white.

It's always changing and it seems not for the better. My dad made a career out of the Air Force, but made sure I understood he didn't want me to join even after college. Vietnam had something to do with that, and not just that it was of course more dangerous, but the entire structure of the military was changing. Now it's changing again, and as in the past, not for the better.
