:pray Dear Lord, please be with me. Without you, we won't make it.

Today I get an email from my son's teacher that states that another student had bumped into him in the hall and that his response was "I'll throw you down and squish you". Now, I know my son. That didn't come out of the blue and get directed to another person unknown to him. So, I didn't panic, I asked him about it when we got home.

Apparently, the boy initiated the "nudge". My son nudged back and it went back and forth a couple of times when my son made the comment. So, I'm recognizing right away he's not completely blameless. HOWEVER, apparently there's an ongoing issue with the boy who has made more than one attempt to intimidate my son and today was the day he was tired of it.

Here's where I get even MORE irritated. My son was called into another classroom to discuss the situation. Two of his other two teachers were brought into the room. The discussion turned to my son talking in class and not completing his work. Three teachers and they NEVER got to the root of the problem with the boy in the hallway!!!

That made me smile. That's SO from my era. :))

I didn't even mention the complete meltdown of the princess tonight. She has a cold. She's been on an almost non-stop practice schedule for cheer competition and THEN TODAY! She goes to school with her cold (and medicated) and one of the boys tells the whole class to stay away from her, she has a cold. SO at recess no one would play with her.

Madea, use my quote...And this to shall pass, and this to shall pass. I have said that over and over and over and over so many times..It will get better.

Yea, my DS has one of those too. I got a call from one of his teachers last week. She did say she didn't think my son was at fault.
