I Went to the Doctor Today...

...after having been up all night with ear pain. The doctor looked in my ear and said, "Sit still. Wait a minute." She came back a few minutes later with another doctor, and they were both taking turns looking in my ear and not saying anything.

Finally one of the doctors was like, "Whoa! That's a really bad ear infection!" And they sent me home with some prescriptions.

Now it hurts way worse, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly just the power of suggestion. :)) :))
 
Sorry for your pain, however it could be worse.
My children's doctor jokingly scolds them for watching too much TV, when he looks in their ears, then says "just as I suspected, you have watched too much TV and melted your brains".

I love it! I think I'm going to tell my little one that when he cleans his ears out.

I would rather have just about any other pain then ear pain. Had ear aches all the time when I was a kid. A warm compress might help. Hope it gets better soon.
