full service gas stations again


I know some days I would USe them like extra cold, windy and rainy day and on days I don't feel weel


I also know My granny would loooove the service again... I think the older people would use the heck out of the service
 
It cost gas stations too much money to offer full-service anymore.
 
I love them, too!

I grew up in a small town. When I was a young lady, just driving, I can remember men always offering to pump it for me if they were at the pump, too. I miss the gentlemanly gestures! :(

(Oh, and in New Jersey, it's illegal to pump your own gas! They only have full service stations.)
 
I was in Jersey last October and I had to pump my own gas.

full service was always extra... some days ( not all) I would pay that extra to pay for the service... some people even give tips to the people that help service them
 
I've always thought it would be cool to have rolling gas stations. A huge flat bed truck with a drive up ramp on it. You're going down I-75, to Daytona of course, and you pull in behind the truck, match his speed and then drive up the ramp.

Some dude would fill you car up while the ladies get out and use the little porta-potty which is also located on the flat bed next to the little roach coach run by the towel head dude. :D

Now getting down from the flat bed is the tricky part. Better let daddy drive. 8)

No way!

When we were there over the summer, D got out of the car to pump gas. The guy walked up and said, "Where do you think you're goin'" :))

He explained that the law is that all gas stations are full service. It's a union thing!
