I have a friend from the Army who served in Afghanistan with me. He's now a Baptist minister for a small church in Stapleton (southwest of Thomson). A few weeks ago, he posted on FB BLM's creed and commented how the organization poses a danger to the country. He received a long text message from a woman church member giving him the riot act. Two weeks ago, he made BLM the topic of his sermon informing his members the organization wants to destroy all statutes of a white Jesus, and bust out church windows with a white Jesus. He went on to explain how their website states it wants to do away with the western nuclear family, etc. He said Christians should not involve themselves by providing any means of support to such an organization.
His sermon didn't set well with that one woman and her husband and demanded a meeting with him and the senior deacon. At the meeting, she told him he had no business making such posts on FB because he represents the church and that he was wrong about BLM. She said someone must of hacked the BLM website and put all that stuff he mentioned on there. The woman is obviously an idiot and does not watch the news where she would see interviews with BLM leaders and what they are advocating.
It's a sad state of affairs where a woman who professes to be a Christian defends such an organization.
