Has anyone seen....

Pursuit Driver
The movie Food, Inc.? My friend has been begging me to watch this forever. I finally did yesterday and I was really suprised. And saddened. And grossed out. I learned a lot, one of which just reinforced my belief that Monsanto is the devil. I have decided to try and go vegetarian again. I will try organic as much as possible, but I am not sure if finances will allow it.

Has anyone else seen this? What did you think about it?

I promise none of this granola crunching will lead me to be a raging liberal again! :p

I have not. Sounds interesting, though. I think I could go vegetarian, 'cept I grew up on a farm and we raised our own beef and I do love me a good steak occasionally. :D So, maybe mostly vegetarian. Honestly, we do have the worst food habits in the world, and we have so much more than everybody else! (And no, I'm not a liberal, either. Although I will admit to being a tree-hugger if there's a way around not cutting them down. ;) )

LOL I was just suprised at how food is processed, and the chemicals used in them. I used to call on Nutrasweet, and saw how it was made. I never use artificial sweetners b/c of it. I also couldn't believe the power Monsanto has... putting farmers out of business, taking everything they own... it is sick. And terribly sad.
