Unless they start a registry, how the hell are they going to know a private firearm was transferred? This is obviously an attack on gun shows.

I don't see how they can support someone being allowed to vote at 16 but try to move ownership of a firearm to 20. That makes no freaking sense. Liberals are insane.
 
Thank God we have a conservative court. This will also be a test for Kagen. Is she or is she not leaning toward originalism? Guns are a big liberal trigger, so can she put aside her prejudices and vote on what the Constitution says?

The flip side of that coin is that Sotomayor is becoming worse than RBG in the pretzel logic department. She might as well vote the democratic socialist party line, skip the arguments, and head for the beach. She can phone it in from there.
 
Looks like the liberals have seen the light that TDS has given them their last chance to ram through every policy change they have wanted. the only thing that saved us last time was they spent two years screwing around with obamacare.

The gun ban bill introduced by Feinstein and Cicilline appears identical to the gun ban she introduced last year in the Senate. Here’s how Feinstein’s office describes the new bill.
  • Bans the sale, manufacture, transfer and importation of 205 military-style assault weapons by name. Owners may keep existing weapons.
  • Bans any assault weapon with the capacity to utilize a magazine that is not a fixed ammunition magazine and has one or more military characteristics including a pistol grip, a forward grip, a barrel shroud, a threaded barrel or a folding or telescoping stock. Owners may keep existing weapons.
  • Bans magazines and other ammunition feeding devices that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition, which allow shooters to quickly fire many rounds without needing to reload. Owners may keep existing magazines.
  • Requires a background check on any future sale, trade or gifting of an assault weapon covered by the bill.
  • Requires that grandfathered assault weapons are stored using a secure gun storage or safety device like a trigger lock.
  • Prohibits the transfer of high-capacity ammunition magazines.
  • Bans bump-fire stocks and other devices that allow semi-automatic weapons to fire at fully automatic rates.

The stupidity of the left is to say the least mind blowing. Do these morons really think the Crips and Bloods are buying their weapons from legal sources? Are they going through back ground checks? They could not give a tinkers damn about gun laws. If you are going to murder, strong arm, rob, extort do they think a few years added to three life terms is going to make a damn to criminals? What these laws do is make it harder for working families to protect their family and property. This ignorant laws also deny merchants the free enterprise system that makes this country the envy of the world. Are the capital police, private protection firms and secret service that protect these hypocritical commies going to surrender their guns? Are there magazine capacities going to be reduced? Are the manufacturers of their fully automatic weapons going to be forced out of business? Who determines the 205 style weapons that are to be banned? You can bet your ass the ones with the best lobbyists who know which wheels to grease don't make the list. As for SCOTUS on paper they are conservative in reality I am not as sure. Roberts has been a huge disappointment in my eyes. I would not trust him to vote conservative on anything.
